OCs are perfectly fine with me. The fifth year is also interesting because of Umbridge. It doesn't really matter to me so which ever movie you are most familiar with would probably be the best if you want to do a HP roleplay.

Usually the best years to RP with are 4th or 6th, fourth because of the Tri-Wizard Tournament and the Yule Ball. Then the sixth year is also good if Draco or Snape is a character because of their large conflicts in that year. Like I said we can do something else if you have any other pairings you fancy(:
