Biography: Amethyst grew up in Phoenix, Arizona with her mom and dad. When one day she stumbled across a book in the drawer of her mothers dresser. It had a strange inscription on it? What could this mean?
Obviously curious, Amethyst picked it up and started to read about her family's ancient history. She came from a long line of witches, very powerful ones at that. It was then that she realized what she had to do. She took the book into her room, studied it daily, and started to practice her very own magic.
But one day, which started out like any other, A new fate was decided for this little witch in training. Her father had found her practicing one day, and took her book away. She tried to stop him, but it was too late. He took the book outside and burned it. He warned her that she must never do any magic ever again. It was mysterious...he did not mention why she couldn't continue practicing magic.
A few years later, after the twins were born, she had finally found out why her father had taken her book away. He was formally a being of the underworld...evil...completely corrupted by dark magic and others who practiced it. He had stopped this path of destruction years ago for her mother, and more importantly, her. He did not want the same fate for his daughter that he brought upon himself all those years ago.
Although she did appreciate what he had done for her, she was too drawn into the magic of her family's line. Instead of heeding his warning, Amethyst went against her father's wishes and practiced her magic in the night.
Her magical powers grew stronger and stronger by day, and along with these changes, she herself changed. The magic from her father's side had begun to corrupt her. Slowly, she began to change from the good-willed witch she once was, into the cold-hearted sorceress she is today.
