No use in procrastinating any longer now, is there?
Well, for starters, my name is Garth. I am of Irish descent and currently find myself living in Scotland, Dumfries and Galloway to be precise. A rather horrible town, to be honest, but it does have its charms. Such as when the river freezes over in the Winter or when the Dock Park is covered in a wide array of Autumn coloured leaves.
I've recently found myself turning 16 [Dec 2010], and now for some reason or another I have a social craving really. I no longer wish to live my life in seclusion as I once did before and partake in more discussions with my father than I used too. Never been this close so I guess its pretty damn cool. [He still scares me witless mind you.]
I go to St.Josephs College, a Catholic school with the single stupidest array of higher management EVER. Its really rather pathetic, but luckily, I'm in my 5th year there meaning I only have my 6th and final year to complete after August and I can not wait to get out into the big bad world, get a job during my gap year and then continue onto higher education after a month or so of travelling around Europe with a few friends [If we can all get the money together that is!] before returning back to this hell hole we call 'Our Town'.
My likes and dislikes? They're pretty apparent once you sit down and talk [type] to or with me. I'm an avid lover of RolePlaying, mostly fantasy's because I detest the idea of RolePlaying a real life situations with a bunch of irritating 11 year olds who I've recently noticed to be EVERYWHERE on this site. [OLDER MEMBERS FTW!] Currently, I've been getting more and more into Romance, but I've never been a fan of it before about... September maybe, I can recall, but now it seems pretty okay I suppose. Good to get some practice in, no? Pet-peeves, how about we have a little fun and you can figure them out? RAAAAGE!
My group of close friends has grown a lot in the past couple of months, where as before there was only 3-4 of us, including myself, I'm more or less certain there's a sizeable gang of about... 16 I think? Cool, aint it? Not really, 16 way chats are a bloody nightmare!!

Bleh sorry I didn't join the rp when I could, it says it's full now >_<. I actually have time to do posts now and everything since my essay is done. Took a long time though! Spent 8 hours today on it when I could have gone home at 1pm. Least it's done though.
No Day of Defeat actually, pretty old game but I'm awesome at capture the flag. Pretty much run around grabbing flags and avoiding people the whole game. Not too good at COD, but then I haven't played it much. Hah, think my best kill has been jumping out of a window ontop of two people shooting them as I fell.
It looks so lovely, what with the footage they show on the television and the pretty computer wallpapers made from photographs. c:
I'm from the United States. I don't travel much so I've never even been out of my own state but I do dream about it a bit.
I'd love to move to New England and fly out visit other countries each summer for a bit, I think.

Yeah, I do. .//u//. Sailor Moon changed my life, actually. I found it at a time when I was being abused and started to think I had nothing left to believe in. As cheesy as it sounds, hearing her talk about true love and believing in your dreams and how friendship and love could overcome anything actually helped me hold on for ten years until I could find my boyfriend who got me help and saved my life. So yeah, it's pretty dear to my heart, tehe.
I'm a writer so I love the concept of roleplay, since it seems so much like writing a story with other people! x3
Umm I think I'd be interested in just about anything, really. Well, with the exception of really lame things and some trigger-y issues.
(Honestly I'd really like to try a good Sailor Moon roleplay. .//u//. While that really sorta falls under the "lame" catagory I've been a moonie since 1996 so I'm prepared to deal with that.)

Well... I kind of just run in, I hate waiting round corners or sniping people. I just find the back routes and try and capture as many flags/shoot as many people in the back as I can ;D
Not played much Halo, although I'm borrowing an Xbox from work so I might get Halo to play on it.
And yeah my MSN isn't working either, I think it could be something with the server if we've both got the same thing.
