I was born in Klippahem on the big island of Norrue. I was little more than the ropemaker's daughter, but I always wanted to see what else was out at sea. The ocean fair called to me at every opportunity and I could do nothing but stare at it for long periods of time. I would be labeled a bit dreamy-eyed at times, but I always felt as if I needed to be close to the ocean.And then the ocean became a man. That man was the sea god Vethorn. He came out at night because the sun weakened him. I had no idea, but it seems I had been in love with the ocean all my life... and now I am the Seawife.
