10 years? doubtful. I work with computers every day of my life. I have everyone at work asking me how to do s**t with the mall the time...
It will be interesting to see how well my nephew goes with technology. He's 8 years old now and is addicted to gaming, computers, etc.

yeah I'm very much like that. No self confidence when it comes to face to face communications. razz I have become very good at the whole body language, eye contact and courteous stuff though xd
I wish I'd stand my ground better too. I already looks back and regret not taking action on some things that I let slide.

yeah I know what you're saying there. I think some days things just seem more awesome than other days. wow that would be a pain in the arse. I guess it's a building block to getting accustomed to working with others as you may need to do so in the line of work you're going into.
just keep toughing it out. There is light at the end of the tunnel when you finish uni. You'll be able to just work and then do whatever you like!

yeah I can't wait for them either. they always play the help-less card...
The other people I'm finding that fail at computers and life in general are the artsy type. You know those people from high school who had no idea what they wanted to do in life so they tried to become an artist?

maybe on this online world I give off that persona. In real life I try to be a people pleaser which means people can usually push me around...

aww no drug test... And I could imagine that it's harder for the opposite sex to pee into a cup! lol

nah I haven't seen batman. I'll prolly wait till it comes out on DVD. but wow it must be good if it's encapsulating your life!!!

The mental health thing isn't really in my area. It's all the people coming in from other suburbs into the city, etc.

The extra duties are work have been good but damn I'm soooooooo friggin' busy. I hate not being able to please everyone and it's just so hard when you're doing so much work! I haven't climbed the corporate ladder, I don't think there'll be any chance for advancement like that in the near future.

Presents at a house party? The only thing people should be bringing is alcohol razz

Yeah I used up all the leave I had over summer. I only get 4 weeks leave a year so I have to use it wisely, unless I take unpaid leave. I reckon I will take some leave when the chick at work comes back from maternity leave. The place is doing my head in.

haha that dood sounds like the master of procrastination. Unfortunately, it's people like this that lead the world. Are you not able to get this guy removed from your group or something? That seems incredibly unfair if he claims credit for the work being done.

I've screamed into a pillow before! it's good venting. I find punching a boxing bag works pretty good.
Did you give yourself a peptic ulcer in the end? and do you actually have blunt, rusty scissors?

I'm being dramatic when I say every 2nd person is nuts but seriously, the mental health of people in SA is terrible. The more and more I have been talking to people lately, I'm starting to think I'm too normal...

Yeah same s**t different day at work. There's a couple people leaving in my department though so they're looking at having me cross-over my role with someone else. I'm looking forward to that, gives me a chance to show them that I can do the job better than they probably think I can.

Hmm... House parties are definitely my favourite. You barely have to plan for those though.. razz

Yeah I work in a corporate environment. It has it's positives and negatives.

I went up to see him in Pt Lincoln late last year. I doubt I'll be having any time off for ages so looks unlikely that I'll go see him. emo

Wow that sounds like one heck of a hectic time. Has it calmed down for you now?
Even if it's not physically draining, I think being mentally drained is worse because you can't functionally physically without being mentally motivated...

well I work in a building with like 500 people in it so it's tons of the same talk all the time. I do hang-out with one of my colleagues outside of work from time to time. I have lunch with him most days too but we skip the small talk and just talk about random stuff.
Nah Port Lincoln is an 8 hour drive from Adelaide (you could drive to melbourne from adelaide in that time). He originally lived up there, came down to adelaide for year 11 & 12 then moved back there again. I've always lived in Adelaide.
oh yeah deffs. I wish I could just win the lotto so I could do it all day everyday. Sucks that working full-time takes that opportunity away from you razz

Yeah I think people read too far into horror movies. Especially the people that go an re-enact them. They're just actors for your entertainment, they shouldn't influence you.

That's not always the case. Some of my friends take forever to reply to my messages when I know that if it's anyone else, they reply to them instantly. They'll try to sort out plans with their other friends before me...
Yeah I'm not really that out-going. I'm not really into having those standard conversations that everyone has like, how's work, etc. because it just feels like a formality these days. I already have to have the small talk conversations with people from my work, I don't want that outside work too!

Not on holidays anymore. And I didn't end up going to the gold coast. My Friend from Port Lincoln stayed down in Adelaide for an extra period of time so we just hung out and did a whole bunch of random stuff. Was some of the best days I can recall!!!

Yeah kids would be way too much effort. I would much prefer to set my life up how I want it prior to doing anything super life changing like having kids.

Well I have noticed a reduction in the amount of sneezing I have been doing. That may be because I haven't been at work though, I have a tendency to sneeze a lot there for some reason

Actually there's no reference to that. It has some dirty parts in it but overall it's clean comedy.

Nah I have had the theory to expect the least out of people. A) it won't feel so bad when they let you down. B) if they actually do perform better, you'll feel good!

Yeah my sinus infection was bacteria related but I still have on-going hayfever issues. I'm also allergic to cats but I don't hang around with them so it's not a big deal razz
