Yeah, The Lotus does look pretty cool. I'd say to go for it. You might want to check out Best Buy though- they might have a better deal. If not, you can just say no and order it online or something.



I didn't text that much, either, but it seemed that most people on campus text, so it was just easier to communicate with people in my classes using text messaging. Plus, my family started texting. It adds a bit of privacy to everything. You don't have to worry about people listening in to your conversations.

Right, and you've had your phone for a while without causing any problems.



Do you text at all? If not, you can add texting to your phone for like $5 a month. You're limited to 300 messages (sending and receiving) a month, and I've never used that many. My mom just recently let me get 1000 text messages/photo sending for $10 a month- which is why I wanted a better phone so much. She kept sending me texts and I just wanted a phone with a full keyboard so I could stop with the stupid T9 word thingy and with a better camera.



I think that the Rant also allows for music to be in the phone... The Fusic is still better for that (since it is an MP3 Player phone), but I rarely used that phone as an MP3 Player.



Yeah, I just checked. The Rant does have a thing for Music, TV, Games, etc.

You should! There was nothing wrong with the Fusic, but having a new phone is pretty awesome. Just keep in mind that if you get a new phone, your contract will start over again. I definitely suggest going to Best Buy though. They're the ones with the deals, and apparently the purple Rant is only available to Best Buy customers, so if you want the best selection/colors, go to Best Buy.



I feel like I'm an advertiser for Best Buy now. XD

Yeah. I told my mom that I wanted a new phone, and she said that if I wanted one, I would have to buy it. I had heard about the Samsung Rant and I wanted that one. I talked to my mom about it, and she said that I could upgrade if I wanted, but that I'd have to pay whatever fees came up (IE activation fees, and the cost of the upgraded phone). So, yesterday Shauna, David, and I went to Best Buy so David could buy an iPhone, and I saw the purple Rant and wanted it so bad. The salesman came up to me and said that they were having a special on the Rant - if you ugraded that day, you'd only have to pay $20 for the upgraded phone (as opposed to the $50 it originally was). I was like "... " and said that I'd take a purple Rant. Then the guy also talked me into getting a clear protector case for it- he gave me a 10% discount because I just got the phone.

If I didn't get that, I would've probably got the Rumor because to upgrade to that phone was free. I just wanted a keyboard mainly because I like to text people. And the camera on the Rant is really good. It's a 2 megapixel camera, and we both know how much I love to take stupid pictures.

Haha. Yeah, I was originally going for an old look, but then I put the eye patch on... then the machete just made sense.



Yeah, I'm sure Jack the Ripper wasn't packing a machete... Probably just a knife and other things. Haha.
