The compass item has a huge variety to it.

It was the perfect internship for me. I fully intend to volunteer again next Summer and they very much want me back. Horses are terrific for therapeutic use. Riding simulates the motion of walking for those who can't and bonding with an animal is often possible where the same person might be unable to form the same connections with other people, just to name two benefits of horse therapy.

Wonderful, I'll add you to our list of thread friends and regulars. smile I'd love to hear more about what you're doing in Japan. I think others in the thread would as well, so if you want to just tell me/us about it there that would be cool.

Thank you. The demon thing behind me is the Compass item but I think all the other items on my avatar are at least a year old.

I'm still at B&N, still working full time, but I completed my internship and after a reflection paper I should officially graduate this Fall. University computer error made a mess of my trying to graduate a couple years ago...long story. The great thing is the internship I finally did (after delaying because nothing sounded worth the effort) was awesome. I was helping out at a stable program that put children with disabilities on horseback. Here's a link to where I've written more about it. my internship

You're teaching in Japan? Amazing, that makes four people I know who are doing so right now and two others who would like to do so. You really should stop by my chat thread; it's a group of friends and good people but also where I talk with two others who are teaching in Japan. my base of opperations wink

Yay, someone noticed! smile It was on a whim. I've been reading a comic series on deviantart centering around characters unique to the original series and having fun discussion with the comic's author. Being back in the Hellsing fan mindset I decided to change my avatar.

I've been very busy but much happier than a year ago. How about yourself? I'm simply horrible at keeping up correspondence, I hope you forgive me for that.

As for the book, I just glanced at the summary and the cover and I like it already. My love for Victorian and Edwardian England just kicked in full gear. I might just have to buy it as soon as possible. *bookmarks*

I read Vassalord. However, the other I haven't heard of.

Yes, I know Twilight vampires aren't actual vampires, but it's still really annoying to see them considered as such. That and I haven't found many good vampire stories lately. Mostly everything I read pales to Dracula, for vampire novels.

Nope. It's just the name of an original character I've had since I was 12. I made up Tasn and Zheng just fit.

Ah, so that's what the ink is for? XD I don't use body dye so I never saw any use for them.

I like Hellsing because in the midst of all the carnage and insanity, there is a story and everything connects somehow in the end. I've been trying to get back into vampires lately, but Twilight really killed it for me.

I'm in Lothlorien right now, near the end of "Fellowship". I've tried to read the tale once before and made it through the first book and up to the Dead Marshes of the second. I couldn't make it past Frodo and Sam in the marshes with Gollum. I actually stopped reading "Towers", skimmed "Return" and read the after notes thoroughly. This time I'm determined to read the epic in its entirety.
I've not heard at all of the Jhereg series. What is it?
Friendship accepted. smile What is it you were seeing that this will stop? I'm afraid I didn't understand that part.

Been better, been worse. Story of most our lives I suppose. I've a job, but business is slow so hours are cut. Silver lining means I've plenty of time to read and I've just started my second attempt at Lord of the Rings. How have things been for you?

yes, the copic markers are very fun to use, you should get some,, BUT they are very expensive, it costs almost $7 for ONE marker. and I have about 220 of them O_o

thanks for the compliment on my art ^__^

the markers blend well because they are alcohol-based copics. they are specialized so that when one color overlaps another they blend well into eachother, and i also use the good paper called Maruman Sketchbook paper.
