It was a night just like any other night
in a bed thats like my bed,
‘cept you were there
with those eyes of yours.
Blinded by the darkness
I moved my hands along your body,
read you like braille; I was a blind woman,
heard you whisper dirty things; pretended I was deaf,
just like you wanted me to.
I wanted it too.
Wanted my lips on your lips
in a silent battle with tongues, words weren’t necessary
Just sharp movements
and the tenderness of my bottom after you—racked your open hands across them.
This is what we all need.
This remedy of human flesh to flesh,
carnal desire fulfilled
parts spent from being ravished,
clothes thrown upon the floor
and mutual understanding
that that
is just
that.
