I met my girlfriend, online, on October 19th, 2010.
On August 6th, 2011, she took a plane to my city, and me and a couple friends picked her up at an airport. She was supposed to be gone within a few days.
She never left.
Our "official" anniversary date is October 19th, 2011. Our first date as a couple was awesome. We went to a circus. I'd always wanted to see a circus. It was her idea.
Sometime in June of 2013, her dad gave me permission to marry her. I still haven't officially proposed, but I don't have the money to give her a proper proposal.
She's absolutely, stunningly brilliant. She excels in everything she does. Any time I set an expectation for her, she surpasses it. Everywhere she works, or studies, people are blown away by her. She's funny, and silly, and creative, and my best friend. I'm so lucky, and I'm glad she loves me back--even if I don't understand it
