He felt his circuits rise about 3 degrees when he heard Miss Sugar’s giggle; it was light and brief, but he enjoyed hearing it immensly. “The WG is a nice place, better than the other ones I’ve gone to. People don’t seem to mind that I am a robot, which is nice.” He gave a small nod. “Though some seem like they do mind, but I think they’re just joking….” Catching Miss Sugar blush once again, he felt a sense of joy that he was able to elicit such a response from her. You’re on a roll today! Punk straightened himself out, noticing how close they suddenly were. Just mere inches apart. “Thank you.”he said lightly, forcing his screen not to turn red. It had been a while since he got this close to someone, physically and emotionally. Maybe this was a sign that everything was going to be all right now. No longer need to run or hide, he could just be himself. “So…” his mind scrambled to think of something to say, inquire about the weather? Latest sports news? The stock market? No, no, and no.
Scratching his ear, Pie watched the two stare at each other in silence. The pup stood up and walked behind Punk, brushing against the back of his legs, as if daring to push him into Miss Sugar. The chickie gave an encouraging chirp.

Punk Simulation

There was a small yawn that came from the ground, Pie waking up from his nap. Punk looked down as Pie was stretching himself out.
The dog wagged his tail and went over to the chick, nudging him with his nose. The chick fell off his shoe, giving what looked like an angry chirp at the dog.
Punk gave what sounded like an electronic laugh, and looked over at Miss Sugar. “How did you reach them? Must have been really nice to finally meet them.”
He watched her play with her hair, wondering what she did to keep it so nice. “I think it’s your charm and good looks that get them.” Becoming a little daring, he flashed her a winking emote.
He absentmindedly took a step forward, almost tripping as Pie chased the chickie past his leg, bumping into him. Punk was able to quickly stabilize himself before he hit the ground.
That would have been extremely embarrassing, he might have ran off again. "Close call."

Punk Simulation

He flashed another smile at her, showing that he was happy she considered them ‘a pair’; even if it wasn’t the way he might like it to be.
“I’ve been here and there. Traveled out of my home town, had brief stays in several human communities, and walked across a desert.” He dropped his head a bit at the mention of the desert.
He remembered walking days on end through the desert, his friend walking by his side. Both of them trying to find someplace where they could live without judgment....
He quickly shook off the mix emotions he was feeling about the memory, and looked back up at Miss Sugar. “Pen pals? What is that? How do you become a, 'pen pal'?” his head tilted in wonder. “I believe I have seen them around...”
It was a little awkward hearing that one of her friends could have possibly been in an institution; he didn’t question it.

He tilted his head a Miss Sugar seemed to have fumbled in her speech for the first time. The Ambassador had his troll and she had---? Guess that was for another convsersation; wait, no.
None. Of. Your. Buisness. Nosy robot.
He jumped a bit as Miss Sugar placed a soft hand on his arm, his screen flashed another dim shade of red.
He couldn’t help but relish the touch; this usually didn’t happen to him. ":'D" he flashed on his screen.
He caught the look in her eyes when breifly saying Paris, he could tell that she missed it. He had a home that he missed as well. But he couldn't go back.
“You’re the first person I’ve had a real conversation with as well. And friend. I use to travel a lot, and there is no friend making while you’re traveling.” He shrugged.
He had a friend once. Someone who was like him. But that was ages ago, history....
But I have you now and that's comforting, he wanted to say, but didn't. That was a little too personal for him at the moment. "Are your friends from the Boutique in Paris?"

Punk Simulation

"Ah, thank you Punk..." His screen turned a dim shade of red, an appearance that looked like he was blushing himself.
Any time he had complimented someone he usually received negative feedback; such as being laughed at, called a creep, or various other responses.
This reaction was quiet new, and rather enjoyable he noted. Especially coming from Miss Sugar.
As he listened to Miss Sugar talking about the rumored marriage between her and the Ambassador, his shoulders fell noticeably in disappointment.
They soon picked up as well as his stance, when he processed that she was indeed, not getting married. Punk shrugged at her inquiry if the news had gotten to the masses.
“If it did, it would sure be in the Tabloids for the next couple of days…. Did you want to marry him?”
There you go again you stupid Robot! Slipping out questions that have answers that are none of your business. “I think I have a bug…” he thought to himself.
“...Or do you like being a free spirit for the time being?” he added, trying to save himself once more.
He shifted a bit, looking rather uncomfortable with himself. "I'm sorry. These questions keep popping out. My vocoder seems to have a directive of it's own."

“No, no! It’s fine.” He waved off her apology. He liked that Miss Sugar was divulging such information about herself to him. It was a step; to something greater perhaps?
Pfft, a robot shouldn’t get his hopes up on such folly, he reminded himself.
Figuring he was going to get no more attention from Miss Sugar, Pie ran over to his owner and laid down at his feet, placing his head on his paws for a nap.
Punk stood there watching Miss Sugar with a blank screen, wondering what he should say next. “You look lovely today.”
Really? That was the only thing he could let slip out of his vocoder? Lame.
He then changed tactics to something that was probably even worse.
“Is it true you are marrying that Ambassador?”
A exclamation mark pop up on his screen; he couldn't believe he just asked that. "That's none of your buisness! What are you doing!?" he thought.
Though he was curious...

"I thank you very much for the pie." he tilted his head as Miss Sugar suddenly hid her face with the hat, wondering why she was hiding. Did she spot paparazzi?
He could understand that she didn't want to be seen with a robot, most people didn't. He took a step back, putting some distance between them if his theory was correct.
Taking notice of his new furry pets, he was about to shoo the animals away from Miss Sugar’s feet, afraid they would cause her to fall over, but they ran away.
The robot took a moment to image what would happen if she did fall over; he was sure he'd catch her. Yeah, he'd catch her. He focused back to Miss Sugar, noticing she was staring at him, no longer hiding
underneath the hat. The colorful LEDs on the side of his screen flashed in a rainbow pattern, expressing his surprise; did he let something slip while he was in his 'daydream'??
"I-I would be honored to play for you sometime. Just set the time and date, I'll be there. ...Biomimetics? That's an interesting profession."
As he continued to listen to Miss Sugar, he couldn't help but feel there was something underneath what she was saying. Was she disappointed? Bored? Unfulfilled? Damn, he needed to take more Human Relation classes.
"Is there anything you wish to get into? Or do you enjoy the little jobs?"

He felt like he should have scolded Pie for giving Miss Sugar a fright, but he didn't have the 'heart' to. Instead, he pulled a flower from his bouquet and handed it to her.
Handing her the flower reminded him of when he once sent a bouquet her way. "Pie is my pie eating buddy. He is quiet the handful, likes to follow me everywhere. He has a little chickie friend."
He looked around to see that his chickie had hopped off, searching for food to their right. "What profession are you in? I'm in the entertainment business."
He watched Pie run off to give the little chickie some company.
