I am a walking contradiction. I am constantly lonely, yet I am a complete hermit. I am always bored, yet I am easily amused. I act like a child, but I loathe immaturity. I am a perfectionist, but I never finish anything. I have no real talents, but I am good at many things. I love roller coasters, but I'm afraid of heights. I am also afraid of windmills and cows.
I have a ton of hobbies, but none of them seem to hold my interest for any amount of time. I will become obsessed with an idea for hours or days or even weeks, so that it is the only thing I talk about, and then I will move on as though it was never important, whether I accomplished anything or not.
I am only fluent in English, but over the years I have learned tiny bits and pieces of various languages, from German to Afrikaans to sign language. The only instrument I can actually play is the spoons, but I've taken lessons for the piano, guitar, dulcimer, flute, and trombone. I love to write, but I refuse to let people read anything I've written. I love to sing, but I refuse to sing around other people unless they're singing too. I am fairly good at darts, abysmal at bowling, and mediocre when it comes to most sports. I hate wearing revealing clothing, but I was once both a cheerleader and a majorette. I don't know anything about cars, but I love working on them, especially classics. I love making crafts, but I rarely make anything useful. I also love to cook and sew, but both of those are rare occurrences.
