Digging Deeper
i feel the metal pressed against my skin
i promise you, you'll never see me again
the blood starts pouring out
you know exactly what this is about
the blade is digging deeper
metal fused with flesh and bone
death comes near
to visit this home
ash to ash dust to dust
nothing can fill this empty hole
end my life, with a single thrust
to free my wretched soul
blood is running down my wrist
trickeling off my fingertips
broken trust caused this
all lust is dismissed
you could have stopped it
but who am i to be saved
for i do not deserve bliss
pain subsides to nothing
as i dig deeper
closer to death, closer to hell
you don't realize, it's your fault i fell
faint light in the darkness
voices calling to me through pain
how could i have known
that i was not alone
I hear it, i feel it, its now all around me
i can stop the blood, it is not too late
to feel pure joy and never hate
how could i think life wasnt worth it then
why did i give you control, its mine again
no more loss, no more darkness
i'll fight for light, i'll fight for me
no more loss, no mire
you were never worth it
you were never there.

to think nobody cared
