Hellos~ My name's Katie, but most people call me Kitty, Alpaca, Pigeon, That Fluffy Girl, or Short Person. im not even that short i broke the 5" barrier at least. -cry- I'm a fourteen-year-old fetus and I'm a vegemetarian. I most comfortably identify as pansexual. I like to doodle and look at cutesy pastel things. Aside from procrastinating, that's pretty much all I do with my life. Good evening! It has been a long time since we've chatted. Hope you are staying well & are doing fine in school. Guess Pedro must be back in your life; that is OK, but do not forget to take time away from him for yourself & for your other friends! It is not good to make yourself too available for a guy or to build your entire world around him!! You are still you with all your god given talents & abilities --- you still need to discover what all of them are and to work on developing them so you can be the best possible you and a truly treasured gem for the man of your dreams in the future. Do not be anxious to grow up too fast and miss out on so much of the fun stuff by settling for the first guy who comes along & notices you --- true love does not imprison a woman in an obsessive relationship, but rather gives her the freedom to grow and blossom into one of God's great works of art. smile
All right, enough with the heavy! Today was a quiet day for me --- exhausted from spending the largest portion of a 24 hr. period at work! It made for a really strange birthday!! Yep, I turned 63 today. I've only been up for about 10 hours now but am feeling weary again and like I need to go back to bed. We do have an in-service at work @ 1:00 tomorrow so I probably do need to get my sleep so I can be alert rather than sitting there like a bump on a log! Tomorrow also is payday so when I get back to W. Burl. will have to go do my banking right away so "Cele" and I can go grocery shopping!!! We did go to Walmart late this afternoon and bought a pizza & sparkling lemon-lime soda for supper and yogurt & 2 little chocolate cupcake sized truffle cakes for dessert. I love the special flavors of ice cream this time of year (pumpkin pie and peppermint candy) but I try to eat yogurt & frozen chocolate tofu dessert instead because of the cows' milk dairy issues we have in our household. My "work twinkie" gave me a big bag of gluten free baking flour for my birthday so we are going to make milk, egg, & gluten free drop biscuits for breakfast in the morning to go with scrambled eggs.
Well, as you can tell, my life has not become overly exciting since I retired in February. We did enjoy going to a few of the outdoors concerts in the park this summer when the Burlington Municipal Band played Sun. evenings. We missed the Jr. & Sr. high concerts over at Notre Dame this fall though so will have to make a special effort to attend the spring concerts or "Mozart Jr." will be unhappy with us after all the hard work he and his students put into learning the music.
Oops, "Cele" just came into my room and told me, "Mom, you silly kitty, it is time to go to bed!" I guess she is right because it is after three o'clock in the morning!!!! Take care and send me a PM or leave me a message in my profile sometime. Miss you. Huggles!

"Plague X" sounds ominous! Are you under the weather with some brand of flu or a virus of some sort? If so, hope you recover quickly! Drink lots of liquids and rest & stay warm. See you later; I need to go take a nap!

Morning! Thank you very much for the lovely gifts! I did already have one of the flowers so I sold mine & kept the one you gave me. smile I'm still not feeling well so am not going to attend the in-service at work today -- need to call the bosses & let them know that I won't be there due to illness. Stay well & keep on studying & doing those homework assignments on time! Chat more another time.

That whole idea of "you have to be really good at art at 18 or you'll fail" is a load of bull. If you want to get good, just take your time to learn :3
