Mavdoc, you were such an amazing person. You were kind, supportive, patient, and genuinely fun to be around. You had this natural ability to make people feel welcome, included, and valued, and that’s a rare gift. Whether someone was brand-new or had been around for years, you treated them with the same level of respect and kindness. I am truly grateful that our paths crossed and that I had the chance to get to know you that somehow still managed to feel meaningful because of people like you.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to host the Pride events during the Dev Meats in zOMG! each June. Those gatherings brought so many people together, and they remain some of my absolute favorite memories on Gaia. You helped create a space where people could openly celebrate who they are, where laughter came easily, and where everyone felt connected. That spirit of the Gaia Online community and that sense of friendship and fun was something you embodied so naturally and shared with everyone around you.
Your presence, your energy, and the way you treated people truly made a difference; more than you probably ever realized. You inspired others simply by being yourself, by showing kindness without expecting anything in return, and by helping shape a community that meant a lot to so many of us.
You will be missed more than words can ever express. But the impact you left, the kindness, the joy, the sense of unity and belonging you helped build, will stay alive in our hearts and in the community you helped shape.
Rest in peace, Mav. I will miss you dearly. Thank you for everything.
