My name is Anita Blake.
I am 24 years old. I am about 5'3" tall. I am curvier than other girls, and more busty than I can handle sometimes, lol. I have long, curly black hair that has grown longer in the past few years, it is now down to my waist. I have dark brown eyes that are almost black and black hair attributed to my mother's heritage while my pale skin comes from my father's Germanic lineage. I have extensive scarring on my left arm and other parts of my body, including a large scar on my collarbone where a vampire bit through it and a cross burn on my forearm. I have another scar on my back from a stake being used against me as well as various stab wounds.

What I am (Still Not Really Sure)
Human to begin with, though, no one is quite so sure anymore, Necromancer, Human Servant (3 marks to date), Master Vampire characteristics (I carry the ardeur, I have my own vampire servant, and have several animals to call), Lycanthropic characteristics as well (I carry several different strains of Lycanthropy- wolf, leopard, lion, and tiger-however I have never shifted, but I've gotten really close to it).

As a preternatural expert, I have an association with various law enforcement agencies. I mainly mainly act as a consultant to the St. Louis police. However I have been involved with cases outside of the STPD. I am a mentor to Larry Kirkland, a fellow animator and Vampire Executioner. I am a Federal Marshall. Ronnie Sims is/was my best friend. Edward and I are 'soul-mates'. I am tied to almost every were group socially through the Coalition. I have direct connections to several of the other bigger groups: Wererats, Wereswans, Werehyenas. I am, metaphysically, part of two triumvirates (One with Jean-Claude and Richard in which Jean-Claude is the master; the other with Damian and Nathaniel - I formed this one and am the master; I also have Jason as an animal to call). My 'leopard' has a 'true mate' tie to Micah as Nimir-Ra to Nimir-Raj. I am Queen of the were-leopards. I have also shared my 'wolf' with Richard, true Lupa to Ulfric. I am the protector/Lupa of the werewolves, and I am also the Bolverk -- doer of evil deeds -- of the pack.
My 'Powers'
I discovered I have the ability to call the beasts of were-animals to the surface, forcing them to shift. I can share my beast with a were-animal, causing them to shift. To me, very old vampires can "smell" like their animal to call. I am an animator - a zombie raiser. I can use an innate ability/power to raise the dead. I later discover that this control can extend to all the dead.
