I know, this week was supposed to be Disney sequals, but I have to put it back a week, as I still have five more sequals I need to watch. gonk
So instead, I've reveiwing all the movies from Laika studios. Never heard of 'em? I'm not surprised, 'cause they've only made one movie. rofl
Yes, I realize you're all gonna be fuming with rage, or at least slightly steamed, that I'm basically reveiwing one movie. Believe me, I'm slightly steamed, too. But there's just too many Disney sequals!
So, without further ado, I introduce you to week one of
See It or Skip It- Laika Feature Films
Coraline (2009)
Coraline was awesome! Wybie is the best character in the movie, and I've yet to come across someone who didn't agree. (that being said, I've only asked like six people) But anyways, while it's not a musical and therefore has no songs, the background music is killer. Also, it's somewhat creepy, but not to the "HOLY GARBONZO BEANS, I'MA GONNA HAVE NIGHTMARES!" level. (unless you're Mariel, then this movie is the scariest thing ever) Though I wouldn't watch it in 3D, mostly just because of the old, practically-naked ladies scene. Do you really want old people boobs bouncing all over in your face? I didn't think so. Besides that part, it's an overall good movie, and I would definately recommend it!
