So on Wednesday of last week, we had a lab accident in Biology.
Let me start from the beginning:
So we were doing this rediculous lab that, for no reason, required us to use acid. I honestly have NO IDEA WHY. But anyway, we were supposed to put some acid in these cups and mix it with other stuff. But for SOME REASON, the acid was melting through the cups.
People were freaking out and calling to our teacher, and she was like, "this shouldn't be happening!" So she looked at the acid we were using, and it turns out we had the wrong one. So Jarra and Crystal both went up to get the right acid, which apparently was less strong.
So anyway, Crystal's glasses started falling off, so Jarra pushed them up for her. And acid dripped off of Jarra's gloves and on to Crystal's cheek. We had to call poison control and send Crystal to the doctor's office. Now she has a distinct scar on her face.
Needless to say, we didn't finish the lab.
Yeah.

Im sorry to hear that your friend will have a scar that she will carry for the rest of her life (assuming it doesnt heal further) but I am just glad that no one was hurt too severely. It could have ended up much much worse.
And, (being slightly selfish here), I am glad that no harm came to you during this episode my friend.
