WORMS :D! During Earth day, we had a "bring your kids to work" event. All the kids got little earth worms in plastic cups, but me and ramoneguru were a little bit jealous. We asked nicely if we could have worms too, and the mad scientist lady gave us each a worm of our very own! I named my worm "Dragon" because I'm convinced dragons fly with magic, and don't need wings - think Unicorns. Laine said they're like hot air balloons, and just glide with their wings. My worm was going to turn into a dragon. ramoneguru named his worm "Kai" for reasons unknown. Dragon died in two hours from (possible) heat stroke. I tried simulating rain and everything, it failed miserably. I am broken hearted sad . Kai slept overnight at the office but escaped his plastic cup prison (which had a lid on it!?!?!?!?!?! the plastic container was somewhat like a condiment cup you get when you order take out and they give you sauces). We found a dirt trail which clearly shows that Kai exploded from his confines a la The Rock, and explored the many figurines of ramoneguru 's desk before dropping off the side and dying a terrible, dry death. We found him as a shriveled black twig looking thing covered in lint, poor sucker. We think they were in love. Sad times sad . See my profile for details. P.S. 	Poor wormies..but the item you made inspired by them is so cute. I'm sure they're all happy faced about it up in wormy heaven. I honestly love Fremere's Guard. I wish I had already bought one because they keep going up in price. The art posted with it is amazing. The bonus pose always makes me smile..(Loving the white chocolate covered strawberry!) Orange isn't really my color but the guard inspires me to make an orange colored avi...thats quite a feat you accomplished, since orange is my least favorite color to wear irl and apparently on gaia too. Keep up the good work!

	A tragic tale full of love and loss! I too had a worm friend die on me, though his death was the result of murder. D:< He was a worm of science voluteering for our biology class, and a sociopathic "worm" of a boy stabbed him through with a toothpick. crying Goodnight, sweet earthy princes. </3

	Im sorry about your worms, maybe you can somehow clone the dead one and bring it back to life, whilst at the same time genetically enhancing it into a mixture of all things irrelevant? I have no clue how that would work but I'm always here to help emo

	Aww poor things! I remember hunting for earth worms when I was young and had a yard... Although most never lived longer then a month... Ah good times! (not them dieing but hunting them and creeping out the other little girls with them) twisted

	When I was 9, I decided that I would keep lots of bugs as pets. It was a weird phase, and I kept the bugs in a shoebox in my closet. Everyday I brought them new plants, dirt, etc. I was very devoted. Then, I noticed that my pet slugs escaped. Slugs eat paper, apparently, and they ate through the cardboard box, and I hadn't noticed, because there were a sufficient amount of leaves covering their escape route. I searched everywhere for them. I knew if my parents found out, they'd freak, so I couldn't tell them about it. So the two slugs escaped, and for several weeks after, I kept finding pieces of notebook paper with slimy holes in them, where the slugs had eaten them. This freaked me out, needless to say my pet bugs were released, but I still couldn't find the slugs. Eventually I found one of them in my closet, and it was huge and long. Ugh. So I quickly brought him outside. But still... there was another... somewhere. Some time afterwards, I don't know how far along, but I keep thinking months, I woke up & went into the kitchen, on the other side of the house. There I saw my mom, looking at the giant glass window that overlooks our yard, and she started to shriek. There was a giant, long slug, slithering across the window, from inside the house. I played innocent victim. Maybe I was? How did it survive so long and get to the other side?? Maybe it's one of the slug's descendants? My dad came out and released the slug. It was quite a historic day. Terrifying, though. It was something near 7 inches long... no, maybe even more. But I was much smaller then, so everything seemed a lot bigger. That's my slug story. ^^

	That's romantic! And a little gross. But all the best romances are. That's how we found my pet newt, too, after my cat got it and dragged it around the house; a little black shrivelled piece of jerky embedded in my mom's carpet.

	Earthworms, phylum Annelida with a true coelom and blood vessels. Great for providing pathways for plant roots and water while burrowing, and also allow growth of beneficial oxygen-requiring soil bacteria! A little biology earthworm fact. Bittersweet story, may these worms rest in peace~! Thanks for sharing!
