He had his own apartment. He was healthy. He had no debts. In high-school, he had been one of the few persons who I could talk with, freely, about anything. Our mentalities were similar. I`m not asking for an utopia. I`m telling you all to wake the ******** up because you`re wasting your lives asleep. How much ******** entertainment do you ******** need? How much food do you ******** need until you get full? How much money will make you happy? How many people should die just so you can have your ideals protected?
When was the last time you powered down? When was the last time you went outside without headphones in your ears, without checking your facebook and without texting everybody in your ******** address book? How much longer do you plan on lying to yourself that you`re not alone? How much longer are you going to ******** pray together, eat together, ******** together and how much more useless s**t are you going to share to all your `friends`?
What did you achieve? How ******** epic is that mount? How ******** epic is your armor? How much of the food you eat does actually satisfy your hunger? How many of those Xbox achievements make you a better person?
Wake the ******** up. You`ve only got one life and you`re spending it asleep. You may think that your life is s**t and that it doesn`t make a difference but what the ******** do you know? What gives you the right to analyze yourself, to tell yourself that the Universe is too large for you to make a difference?
This is your goddamn ******** life. This is your gift. That`s all it is. It`s not a competition to see who has the most friends, who has the best high score. It`s not a competition to see who has had the most shitstorms in their lives and who has the biggest scars.
A guy I knew in high-school was found hanged today. His fiancée was with him and she hanged herself too. There`s no suicide note. The guy was smart. He had a job. He was engaged. He finished college. He had his own apartment. He was healthy. He had no debts. In high-school, he had been one of the few persons who I could talk with, freely, about anything. Our mentalities were similar. Nobody now understands why they chose to end their lives. They weren`t even 25 years old. I won`t say I know why he chose to do it because I`m hoping I`ll manage to lie to myself.
We`re born alone and we die alone and on the large cosmic scale our lives mean nothing. But we`re not gods. We`re not galaxies. We`re human, our lives matter to us. It`s the only thing we actually have.
This retarded rant is for him. I feel he was so stupid for doing this but I feel like I understand why he chose to give up. It`s probably hard to understand why I feel so much pain and sorrow for the death of a ******** idiot! ******** IDIOT! ********!
I respected him and if things were different, that could`ve been me.
He woke me up.
I`m scared now because one day I could find myself not awake. I don`t want to forget him, them. I don`t want to ever forget how I feel now but I don`t feel strong enough to be able to carry this lesson with me for the rest of my life. So while I`m still awake, I`m telling you all to wake the ******** up. I`m alone but my life, my gift, affects the lives of those around me. I`m scared and I feel weak but I refuse to stop fighting. I refuse to let my candle melt while I`m asleep. As long as I get a say in it, my light from that candle will shine in the darkness and guide me to the end of my journey! Today is the day Keaton left to go...somewhere.
Only 7 days until he comes back from...somewhere.
I told him I had an exam today. Turns out that's next week. Oops.
I told him I had a project due today! Turns out that's also next week. Oops.
I put on my fancy shoes this morning! It rained all day. There's mud everywhere. My shoes are ******** dirty.
