Why Jesus? Why do I follow Him? The answer is as simple as the question. He the only one that helped me, saved me from a mental hell that gripped my mind. I knew before I EVER became a Christian that hell was real. I felt the coldness, the sheer feeling of being exposed. Naked before the world. I would have panic attacks daily, once was a good day for me. My hair was falling out. I never went to a doctor or therapy, but it had to be ocd. Its was hell, the only word that seems to fit. One day I had eaten a piece of bologna that was bad. Later my mom said not to eat it because it was bad. I thought I was going to die. I threw my insides out. That whole jack-in-the-box thing where those people had died from e-coli. It was in my mind. So I just said, "GOD if you let me live I'll goto church." HE let me live, so I went.
I found out about how I could have forgiveness. See we have all sinned. Because of the sin of Adam and Eve, mankind has been under a curse. And Jesus lived a perfect life without sin to be our substitute, so we wouldn't have to taste of the second death (hell). He died so we can be forgiven. ALL of our wrong doings, our past mistakes, our bad deals... gone, erase to be forgotten in The Mind of GOD. Jesus rose on the third day by The Hand of GOD. You can be forgiven too!
You have to believe that Jesus is The Son of GOD, that He died for your sins and GOD rose Him on the third day. If you do, pray to GOD, confess to HIM your sins. Tell HIM you admit your a sinner and in need of forgiveness. Tell HIM you believe Jesus as The Son of GOD. That He died for your sins and He rose from death. You probably won't hear angels, but they'll rejoice. You probably won't feel anything. But know this your saved no matter what anyone says or what any demon says. Follow Jesus, read about Him in the Holy Bible. I would start with John, then the new testament.
After I got saved... the voices went away. Thats why I follow Jesus. He is the only one who helped me. Buddha didn't help me whatsoever! Muhammad didn't come out the ground and help me! Any of those dead gods didn't do jack for me, didn't even lift a finger to help me! Jesus did. Jesus loves us! A Christian is nothing but a forgiven sinner. Jesus forgave me. GOD is good!

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
