Thanksgiving.
Good morning. (: And Happy Thanksgiving! (Really.)

I decided to do something fun for you and (mom/dad). I guess I'm a little crazy after all. biggrin

So. Are you ready to hunt for your little gift. I'm sure once you have it, you're going to be like "What the..? This is it after all that work?" However, you better appreciate my thought process and sincerity at wanting to bother the crap out of you.

Okay. This is a scavenger hunt (in/around/outside the house only ... and El Paso).

(Haha. Just kidding. That would suck.) Anyway, yes, this is a scavenger hunt and I hope you enjoy it. To prevent cheating, your comrade next to you has a different path. Cheating? You ask. It's a scavenger hunt. You can't cheat! WRONG. My scavenger hunt involves riddles. So it's more of a riddle hunt. Yes. This is my riddle hunt for you. (:

Anyway. Let us begin.

First clue:

MUSH, MY LITTLE DOGGIES, MUSH.

It speaks of struggles placed before African Americans and how a preacher, King, was a source of non-violent strength. The portion used spoke of his demeanor and his moving speeches that rallied thousands of acivists. SAT, ACT, THEA
The SAT reasoning test determines how well your mind functions on the basic. The questions are critical thinkers and measures how you analyze and solve problems. The SAT is most commonly take by seniors and juniors. The sections of the SAT are the writing, critical reading and mathematics. Each section gives a score of 200-800 with two writing subscores. The test is given seven times a year in USA owned land, and six times overseas. All sections are scored with the exception of one which is used to determine what questions may possibly be on future SAT tests. The tests always begins with the 25 minute essay, and ends with the 10 minute multiple choice writing. Any of the other sections are given in any order, which reduces cheating.

Annotated Bib
Boyle, David. "The Desert Storm." World War II In Photographs. N.p.: Rebo, 1998. The book used is a

compilation of hundreds of pictures from World War II alone. It houses images from every

theater and even close ups of important Generals, weapons and battles. We used The Desert Storm

(North Africa Front) pictures in our documentary. The book is extremely reliable. It has many

good reviews (as researched online) and is very accurate with authentic images from the correct

time.

Discovery Education. 2007. Discovery. 24 Feb. 2007 &http://www.unitedstreaming.com/&.

Discovery Educations: unitedstreaming is a real world media source. It houses hundreds of

videos most being award winning digital learning resources. It has a partnership with 25 public

television stations and is a favorite among teachers and parents. We used videos involving

WWII: The Africa Front and some documentaries abou Rommel. Overall, the source is highly

reliable and easy-to-use, with plenty of videos for our use.

Scheffle, Charles. Personal interview. 3 Mar. 2007. Charles Scheffle is an 87 year old veteran that

fought is WWII in the Africa Theater. He was more than willing to share his stories and

memories with us from that time. We were able to get personal inside opinions about leaders,

condition and battles by talking to him. He's a reliable primary source because he was a ground

soldier in WWII.

YouTube. 2007. 25 Feb. 2007 <http://www.youtube.com/>. YouTube is a free media website, where

the users post the videos they choose. Most videos are made by unprofessionals, but sometimes

you come across a film either taken from a proper website or created by a professional. We used

the video titled "WWII North Africa footage". YouTube is very reliable only if you

know what you're looking for and where to look. Other than that, I recommend staying away from

it.
