In the spring of the GD there were great amounts of light discussions of various topics, there were also fan threads and talks about plots. Soon however it was certain that the fan threads and plot talks had to make its own way. The GCD was soon formed leaving the GD.

The GD than continued on to into the fall. Soon trolls, sex topics, name drop threads, cam whores, and no actual discussions took place. The forum had become addicted to the drugs of the lulz that the chans sold. The great hunger for these lulz had the GD even turned their back on their old friend the GCD. Months went by and than years, the lulz had become a permanent fixture of life in the GD as it grew more and more dependent on senseless banter. Its addiction still ever hungry for the next lulz.

Than the harsh cold spell of winter came, and everything was turned upside down. People were being banned, threads were moving, and the GDers were doing everything to try to get their precious lulz back. Now the GD and its users are senseless from the aftermath. Some hold on to its lulz, others find themselves escaping to other forums, the worse find themselves facing reality without Gaia, and the old just lie there dreaming of the spring.
