The sound of rain caressing me. I sit on a house porch. Rain falling down sweetly. Tears of the clouds. The clouds dark and covering the earth from the sun's rays. Looking up. Walking from the covering safety of the porch. I look up at the grey sky. Smiling faintly. Rain falling on my cheeks. My hair. My body. I quickly get soaked, but I am careless of it. I close my eyes as the rain falls faster and harder. The sound of it hitting leaves and trees. Tin roofs and wooden roofs. Hitting the muddy grounds and cement man-made grounds. I turn a cycle and look up again. The rain my friend. Whispering words of comfort in my ears. Let it rain. Let it guide me. Let it be the one I secretly talk to. Let the rain fall.
