Lucky Life
Some live life lucky
Avoid the tragic events that
That torture our society
But some of us don’t have this luck
Some of us aren’t left in the dust
When these events end
Some live on without mothers, sisters, friends
These events
They go on with no end
Of course they take many
But some of us get left in the dust
All we can do is hope and pray

To get this luck

This one word is more powerful than any other

Makes us live in fear of our life
Makes us want to watch out a window
Watch it all fly by
Not pay attention to what we have

While we cower in the midst

Not see that there are people in the world
Who want to see us live
Live the life the Lord planned for us to live
And overcome the fear of one tiny word

These “friends”
