A gothic girl named Jane LeStrange, with hair so short we thought she had mange. Silently awaiting the end of days and scaring the town with her strange ways. Under the shade of a tall tree she sat, constantly cosseting her clever cat. Her cards almost always predicted gloom and her clairvoyant mind always saw doom. but in secret, when he passed by, a certain boy would catch her eye, and in passing her might pay a glance; which she, in noticing, might have chanced a word with he who was dark as she, but dared not ask if it would be for fear the fates would curse the pursuit- so that her attempt would bear no fruit. And still she watches from beneath her tree secretly hoping it might be, hoping he will stop for a fortune.
A Rabbi also was there, a plump man with thinning hair. By appearance he was just divine, a simple purveyor of sacramental wine, but also a jest and a pervert as well. For could God really send a man to hell if in omniscience He knows all people will sin? And lust could not be so terrible if in the garden Adam and Lilith began and she would lot lay below a man, but he would not compromise with our "villain", who from the garden she was driven. But he, who was just as much to blame, was allowed to stay all the same and gained yet another mate, who also created aless than desireable fate. But to her alone was placed the blame of cause when both ate the fruit and paradise was lost. So you see, if God forgives man for mistaking twice, surely our Rabbi has commited no vice?
