So now I come from the Republic of Macedonia and live in the United Kingdom and have friends that live all accross the globe. That's all very nice and everything but it makes it difficult to meet up. And a little bit difficult to know where you belong too, nowhere really fits any more...

This is just to remind myself that before Christmas I had reached my desired weight and that I should endeavor to reach it again after the food disturbance created by Christmas.

I dieted from April to August and lost around 8kg, so around 1lb a week. I did this via a 1400 calorie diet most days and a occasional larger meal, no more than 1 per week.

A typical day would look like this:
Cereal and milk - 200 cal
Banana - 100 cal
Sandwich with cheese - 400 cal
Apple - 50 cal
Tea with milk and sugar - 50 cal
Low fat yoghurt - 100 cal
Dinner (lots of vegetables!) - 400 cal
Snack/sweet - 100 cal

It is reasonable, it keeps me non-hungry, it is healthy and it works!
So after the holidays, I will be expecting a strict adherence to this scream

My best friend just came back from America after a year. She's studying mathematics there biggrin Now she doesn't watch anime but she knows that I do and she decided she wants to get me an anime related gift. So I searched carefully for something I couldn't get for myself and that I really wanted - I wasn't going to waste her money or luggage space! So I find the Clow cards. As a fan of both Card Captor Sakura and the tarot I just had to have them and had been looking for them from previously. She came home all the way from there and brought them for me and they were my present for not having seen me for a year, missing my birthday and not spending new years together. They're special in many ways. I just want to make this clear.

We went out to see each other for the first time in such a long time and I was admiring the cards at a cafe near the river. Then this little beggar girl and her younger brother approach us and ask for money. However as soon as the girl saw the cards she started asking for one. "Just one, give me just one." she kept saying, but this was out of the question for em and I kept asking her to leave. Upon which she snatched one away. I was so angry.. When I got up to chase her she promptly dropped it and ran off, but I'm still angry (and it's been several days). I don't care how poor or miserable she is, she has no right to steal my precious thing, my special present. it doesn't mean anything to her and she can't get anything for it. If she had stolen food or money that would've been fine, I really couldn't mind less. But stealing just one of my cards made me feel so horrible, even though I got it back. So now I'm angry and people better not get in my way! Ahem. I'm not sure if I have any right to be, I'm much, much better off than she is and Clow cards are such a frivolous thing... but that's how I feel and I can't shake it.

My boyfriend's cat, Amber, died yesterday crying She had a cancer that was all around her intestines and impossible to operate. crying She only had 2 weeks left to live and soon it would have become quite painful for her as her pancreas would start to dissolve itself. crying So we had her put to sleep and buried her in the yard, in front of the bird bath where she liked to hang around. crying Oh man... I cry each time I mention her...

Yesterday was my day out to London with my boyfriend 4laugh It was soo great! First we went to an exhibition about optical illusions and stuff, which was okay but not as good as it could have been. Then we saw His Dark Materials Part I at the National Theatre. Delicious lunch at this tiny little Thai restaurant just off the Strand, then His Dark Materials Part II. Basically 6h at the theatre but it was so worth it. I'm quite fond of the books (Northern Lights, The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass) and I was rather sceptical about how they could be turned into a play, but it was truly wonderful. It was a very active set with parts of it moving horizontally and the middle part going up and down and all around. The daemons and cliff ghasts were great and were surpassed only by how cool the armoured bears were! I liked most of the actors, but particularly those that played Seraphina Pekkala, Ruta Skaldi, Lyra, Pan and Iorek. I wasn't so fond of Lord Azrael and Mrs. Coulter but such is life. Will... had troubles with his voice xd But anyway, both the books and the plays come very well reccomended.

Yeah, holidays are coming. It'll be nice to goof around (more than I am now, that is).

Yah, I completely forgot to update this thing.
Well now I'm in England. My boyfriend's birthday was yesterday ^.^ I'm talking to my sister right now. I should be studying. Wheee....

Yep it's almost here. While I'm not one for horror - dressing up, playing with kitties and eating sweets is right up my alley. It's a shame we don't particularly celebrate it. On the other hand here we dress up for April Fool's day and that's just as much fun (and not so cold too). Hmm, I should've asked my grandma to make pumpkin strudel for Sunday. But then I couldn't eat so many of her closed pizzas and that would be very sad 3nodding

I've been following the plot on Gaia closely and so far it's been quite exciting! It doesn't seem like it'll get resolved in three days, but we'll see. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to the Gambino mansion forum opening up, if that's where the action is going to be. That place moves waaaay to fast for me, I can't follow it, I can't lead a decent discussion, I can't even load it fast enough... Never mind. I just want to be able to figure out what it is I need to do during this plot. Not like on Neopets where mysteries usually involve buying an insanely expensive item or owning a similar kind of weapon.
