Oh yeah, thats right. i have completed the purchasing of the newest computer that i have ever had. infact, it is my first own personal compute, and is it ever amazing and god and do i ever love it (and no it did not fall of the back of a truck)

I thnk the greatest perk of this computer is the fact taht it has allowed me to again get in contact with people whom i had entirely missed, as with the new computer i now have the internet again. yay internet! and so i have en wasting away many an hour talking on MSN. oh how i had missed all the people from the forums i post on, a specially big shout out has to go to Beth! ITS SO GOOD TO TALK TO CHU AGAIN BETHY!

however i have already realised one immediate problem that will result form this, i am never going to get any work done AGAIN! you see the wonderful thing about not being able to work at home is taht i was forced to go in to university, where all i could do is work, but now with the internet at home i will be like "i can get the resources online" when what i am really doing is "now i can talk on MSn, play computer games and listen to all my music and never work again" also. this is probbaly a bad situation to be in considering the end of the year is almost here, infact i finish my exams on the 27th of this month (27/10) tahts a lot closer then i thougth it was.. and its not getting any further away.

So, here is me saying, YAY FOR COMPUTERS! now to finish networking all the computers in the house together to get ready for a summer of lan party ness and nerddom!

OMG when i started this blog some time last week, i was of the assumption that i would write in it a bit moe then i presently do.. but of course.. i was also of the assumption that i would have a little more spare time then i presently do.

i think my greatest problem at present is the entire lack of having a computer with internet access at home.. which is possibly the most infuriating thing in the world.. i remeber hwen i first lost the computer it was like losing a best friend, and with no internet access its almost like being sociall ostricised without actually doing anything wrong.. you just sort of stop exsisting all at once.. you fall away from contact with friends, you get out of grips with the internet lingo.. OMFG GTG PWNS IRL BBQ!!! and most importantly i need to have REAL contact with people to understand whats going on.. no longer could i whittle away many a lonely night on MSN talking net jargon with people in the USA, no. i was all online, confined by my self, and finding htat to get my kicks now i have to call some one up and say hey lets do soemthing as oppose to organise it over the internet. AND THAT COSTS MONEY!

ok, so i am probably making it sound liek i hate people, i dont hate people. i just hate talking on the phone, its always apperaed to me as a complete and utter waste of time. Especially gossiping on the phone, i mean in the time you are sitting there jabbering on about who knows what you could ahve gone and seen each other, much more intresting.. but maybe thats just me..

how did i get from a rant about the internet to talking about hating talking on the phone? hmm... logical process' failing.

ne way, so i need to buy a computer and get in the internet back at home. ANd i have been delibreating over: A) waht sort of computer to get. and B) what sort of internet connection to go with. currently im thinking of getting an alright comuputer with an Ahtlon processer and DDr ramn as well as a decent 3d card etc, you know. all that computer jazz.. i would post all the specs i wanted but i cant actaully remember.. and for the internet im thinking of going wiht cabel or ADSL 2 (whe it comes out)

but you see the problem is getting the actual computer. i need to first find a dealer, then get to where they are, then actually but the computer.. well i have enough money (im also sure of it) to get a computer taht can do what i want.. just i dont know who to go throught.. so yeah. i whole heap of people have voiced ther opinion on the matter to me, and said why there dealer is better then everyone elses and most of them have been convincing (except one person who was telling me how the computer he could get me would be uber cheap because it may have been a bit "dented" drom quite possibly falling of the back of a truck.. he was't sure.)

So, my pledge is to, over the course of this weekend, or quite possibly some time next week. PURCHASE A NEW COMPUTER!
