Today someone saw me drawing and asked me, "Why? What makes you want to draw that?" It wasn't a strange drawing, just somebody hanging out by a creek. But it really got me thinking. I thought of all kinds of things I could say, most of them things a lot of people who do art say. "I can express myself here." or "It calms me down." No, it doesn't have to be anything artsy or deep or poetic. I think mostly, I draw things that I'd rather be doing at the moment. It's my way of daydreaming, it just seems more real when it's down on paper. ^_^
