So, several things happened very rapid fire. First was my wife's birthday. Then our 4th Wedding Anniversary, then my birthday! So we decided to wrap everything into one big celebration and went to Cancun.
It was truly amazing. I'll post pics as soon as I get them back. We had a beautiful view of the ocean right from our bed. The water so blue! I remember being amazed by that on my first trip to the Bahamas but it never fails to "wow" me all over again, every time I see it.
We stayed at the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun, which, let me tell you, was simply gorgeous. The food and service were outstanding (sounds like I'm writing a review, lol).
We took a tour of Xcaret (ish - ca - ret).
http://www.xcaret.com/On our honeymoon and first anniversary, we went to the Bahamas and I was very impressed with that. But Cancun is easily the equal, if not better than that experience.
So, in honor of this wonderful vacation and upcoming Halloween, I'm wearing the Mexican style clothing. Kind of a Zorro-esque take on Green Lantern.
