You should miss them far more than I, a simple stranger you've never even met
a face unseen, voice unknown
simple words falling from a mind, polluted and tainted
always reaching for death and life
a most unhappy mixture of light and dark
never one nor the other, always leaving me wishing, pining for something else
yet so damn content it hurts
waiting simply waiting
for what I know not but I feverently hope it will find me soon
for if not I may never know
what it is I wish for
why it is I wait
