Happy Endings...And More..
Prolouge- How it Started
Nickoli drew in a sharp breath of air, his auburn hair falling into his ice blue eyes. The night was chilly, and there wasn't a cloud in sight, which amazed him, since he was in the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Stars twinkled and the full moon casted off and eerie glow on the dark park. Slowly Nickoli crouched, ready to leap off the table that sat in the shadowed gazebo, until he heard a crunch, crunch of boots hitting the newly fallen snow that blanketed the earth. Quietly he vaulted off the table and sauntered towards the sound.
"Is-is anyone there?" A female's soprano voice rang out in the silent night. The sweet scent of cologne washed over him, making Nickoli take in a long hungry breath. She smelled delicious, and made his mouth water instantly with a hunger he hadn't felt in well over 200 years. He shuddered at the thought of taking a woman he had never met and ripping her to shreds, the taste of her sweet blood on his tounge, her silenced screams--No! No more! His conscience cried out. The crunching came closer, until she was just past the corner of the gazebo's brick wall. She was beautiful. Her skin glowed against the moonlight night, and made her look dead. She has a lovely rounded dace with an upturned nose, giving her a petite look. She had dark brown, almost black hair that spiraled in curls that hit her rounded, small shoulders, making her slim, and graceful. She wasn't tall, maybe five-foot-one or five-foot-two at the most, and very tiny.
Nickoli knew he could take her easily, without her even realizing what hit her, but he didn't want to. He didn't want to murder another innocent again. He was doing so well. So, instead, he waltzed right up to her.
"You know," Nickoli purred out from behind her, making her jump, twirl around, and gasp within mere seconds. He smirked, pleased with her reaction, and went on, "it's not safe for a young becoming woman to be roaming the streets of Grand Rapids so late at night."

Rosalyn's eyes grew saucer wide as she stared at the glorious creature before her. She had to be dreaming. Men were not this gorgeous. Her heart was hammering in her chest, and the loud pulsating thud, thumped in her ears and throughout her small body. For at least a minute she stood there, staring, their breath mingling in puffs of white smoke. It was as if Rosalyn couldn't think, only breath heavily.
"I-I uh..." She stammered. What are you doing, making an idiot of yourself?! Her mind screamed at her, she had to learn to be brave at some point in time. The young man's smirk grew into an impish grin. Rosalyn raised her chin, trying to pull off a tough girl act, even though she felt squirmish on the inside and out.
"I'm twenty-two, I can do whatever I want late at night." Her voice cracked on her final word and his grin grew.

She was hilarious! Nickoli was trying so hard not to laugh at the angel before him. She was trying so hard to be BA, and it didn't work. Her small chin was raised as if she was trying to snuff him out, and her eyes twinkled. My word her eyes, a golden brown that was so beautiful it made his heart melt. He knew if he could, he would take her now and ravish her in so many ways. Her voice made his heart swell, and all he wanted to do was make her talk again.
"Really now? You could have fooled me." He snorted out, sarcasm dripping like acid in every word.
She huffed and glared at him, making her look even younger.
"Bite me mister." She grumbled.
"You don't know how bad I want to." Nickoli murmered to himself.
The girl cocked her head, confusion in her lovely eyes. He simpered again, and started to saunter towards her, his tall lean body swaying like a cat's.
"I-I-" she stammered out, stumbling backwars.
Nickoli knew he shouldn't play with innocents, but his animal side wouldn't let him stop. He wanted her. He didn't even know why. Maybe it was the hunger, maybe her beauty. All he could do was stop, and stare.

He was just staring at her, confusion flooding his eyes. There was something else there, a different emotion, but she couldn't read it. The young man shook his head, his eyes, the color of ice, shining hard and fierce. He started to walk towards her again. Rosalyn stumbled back, and then, ran right into a pole on the gazebo. He grinned evily.
"Are you scared little girl?" He murmered as he put his hands on either side of the poll, trapping Rosalyn between him and the thick splintered wood.
"N-n-no," Rosalyn stuttered. He was just so close to her, she couldn't think straight.

Nickoli leaned in close to her, and took in another long breath of her lovely fragrance. She didn't notice. Her eyes were fixed on his, curious on what he was going to do to her. Kill her? No, definately not. Steal her money, hm, nope. Kidnap her? Tempting, but then that would ruin the whole not killing her thing. He didn't want to harm her. In fact, what he really wanted to do was hold her close, keep her warm, and maybe kiss her, but she was a total stranger. A small sniffle snapped him back into reality. He took another good look at her to see she had started to cry.
"Please don't kill me." She sniffed out. He could barely breathe, dejection aching in every bone of his body. She thought he was going to kill her.
"I wont." Nickoli promiaws, more to himself than to her. She nodded and raised a long thin pianist finger to wipe away a stray tear. He smiled weakly.
"I'm Rosalyn."

She didn't know why she said her name. He was a stranger, and possibly dangerous.
"You would tell a total stranger your name? I could have lied about not killing you, and you tell me your name?"
Yeah, he thought it was crazy, too. Then, with an agaitated sigh, he spoke again, "I'm Nickoli."
"Hi." Rosalyn murmered, her heart still hammering in her chest. She sniffled again, this time to stop her nose from running.
"It's cold out. Just so you know." Rosalyn said nonchantly.
"You know, most strangers don't talk to eachother like this." Nickoli said bluntly.
"And? You said you're not going to kill me."
Nickoli could barely believe what he heard come from her lips. She trusted him not to kill her, she was so sincere/ A small simple smile sprawled on his lips.
"How about we go somewhere warm?"

Rosalyn usually, no, never, went with a total strangers, but she felt safe. There was something about him that she couldn't put into words, though. He was different. Maybe it was just her mind playing with her, but she knew he wasn't normal.

As Nickoli walked with her there was very little talking. He could feel his heart banging around in his chest, he actually liked her, this Rosalyn girl. An innocent, a human. It was a short walk, he decided to just bring her to his place, be sweet and hopefully not kill her. He opened the door, a gesture showing he was a gentleman, and he led her to his room. Quickly Nickoli pulled out the key and slid it into the lock without any problems. Rosalyn just stared at him in awe. He could feel a grin spreading on his face.
"I hope you don't mind, it's a little bit of a mess."
"Not. At. All." Rosalyn said in small, short, stops.
Rosalyn could care less about how rude she was being, but she quickly waltzed over to the couch and ploped onto it.

"Comfy now?" Nickoli asked, a smug look on his face.
"Yeah," she said, her face heating up.
Nickoli took in another long breath, and almost choked. God, he was going to do something terrible at this rate. Rosalyn disregarded his pained look and looked around the small, cluttered apatment. Homey was what popped into her mind right away.
"Okay," Nickoli sighed out, "We-"
"Are you a vampire?"

He could have almost died. A vampire? A creature that is almost as monsterous as him.
Ha! He laughed. a loud booming laugh.
"No," Nickoli said, wiping away a tear that appeared.
Rosalyn had a look of annoyance on her face, making her have a small pout. She crossed her arms out of anger. Right then, he knew he couldn't lie to her.
"I'm a werewolf."
Nickoli expected her to run, scream, try to stab him in the eyes with her perfectly manicured nails, something terrible, but instead she got up and walked over to him.
"Really?" Rosalyn asked.
"Really." He said seriously.
And then she kissed him.
