[and so the story concludes:]
Horrified at losing the two people in my life that ever cared about me I hid at the back of the battle hall. Then and idea popped up in my mind. I could go avenge my family?s death! Forgetting the promise I made, I flew to the mead hall in the dark of the night and enacted my revenge; grabbing my son?s arm, which hung over the door, as well. I flew back to my home and noticed that the winter wonderland was not a winter wonderland anymore. Everything was melting and the water was boiling. Crying, I flew up to my home, alone, and lay on my back looking at the beautifully painted ceiling. The next night a strange man came to my house and attacked me! He was accusing me of killing people mercilessly. I did not know what he was talking about and had to fight back or else lose my life. As I fought the man told me that he was Beowulf and would kill me just as he had killed Grendel. His words made me hysteric, I started lashing out, spreading my wings out to give me an advantage by gliding in the air above him. Yet, he was no match for me, because he wished to kill me no matter what, and I just wished that he would stop attacking me and leave me to mourn. So, in one quick swipe he stuck me right through my heart. As I fell to the ground, I whispered my final words in the living world, ?Frey, my love, I?m so sorry I betrayed my promise. I went and acted in anger and took revenge for our son?s death. I pray that you will find it in your heart to forgive me and still let me fly towards Heaven with you.?
[The End, so there you go. Now that I have re-read my story I realize that it needs quite a lot of work. I shall go back to the drawing board and keep most of the story, but I shall need to add quite a bit more and revise what I already have. Thank you for reading this and please, could you still comment on what you think of it. Danke schon!]

[and so the story continues:]
Taking in a huge healthy and hearty breath of pure air I let myself fall back into the water and float on my back. While staring up at the huge sparkling cloak covering the sky I saw a bush rustle to the right of me. Startled, I flew up into the bright starlight. Pain surged throughout my back as I floated above the lake and, all at once, I remembered my family's curse. Because of my reckless brother God had cursed us with huge angelic wings. At the time I thought they were a blessing and quite nifty; this was because I had black, red, and white feathers and had always dreamt of flying. However, I soon found out they truly were a curse. They created a terribly excruciating pain down my back and, because the wings were exceedingly huge and oddly colored, made everyone aware of our curse. This created chaos around the people who believed we were bad luck, which incorporated everyone. They thought destruction would be brought to anyone around us, thus avoiding us at all costs.
Feeling tremendously depressed and sad once again, I slowly semi-fell, glided, down to a rock a few inches away from the waterfall. Forgetting about the rustling from the brush I started to cry, my thick hair falling in front of me, waving along with the light breeze. Soon, after a few tears had fallen on my legs, I felt someone embrace me! Confused as to why anyone would want to hold someone cursed I opened my eyes and looked up to the side of me to see who my mystery comforter was.
There, with red and black wings kneeled the man of my dreams. I never thought anyone other than my family had been cursed and so I searched the universe for someone who would accept me. I had found not one other; and here, when I was not looking and just trying to enjoy myself someone had come to me! Tears started pouring from my eyes as I started to say something; but he told me no, not to speak a word and that everything would be alright now because he was there to help me. I could not believe what he was saying, and yet, somehow, I knew he was telling the truth. As I continued to weep, he turned me around and took me in his arms. While holding me tight to his chest I heard his heartbeat, and at that moment I knew everything definitely was going to be alright. After a while of embracing he started to massage my back, knowing too well the pain I had to deal with. A few minutes later, the pain was all gone. He then lifted me up from the rock and flew me into the air, floating close to the middle of the waterfall, a few hundred feet up. Leaning in close, he gave me a kiss. From that moment on we pledged to be together forever.

[and so the story continues:]
After my water test, I backed up a ways and started running towards the lake once again; this time to jump in. The closer I got to the water the, more I lifted up from the ground and into the air. Finally I reached the water's edge, and, being about five feet up in the air, dove down into the ice cold water submerging my whole being. I stayed under for what seemed like a lifetime. Eventually, when I noticed the moon and stars visiting the sky, I burst up from under my newly found crystal ice-land. As the water crystals tossed about me, my long thick dark brunette hair flowed in the crisp air and my wings spread out behind me.
While staying in the shallow area of the oasis, I started taking in my surroundings. I found that the secret place was even more beautiful than I had thought it to be. Luminous silver and blue crystals covered everything! The waterfall that looked so majestic in the daylight didn't even look real now; sparkling diamonds flowed steadily from the fall and showered me in glory. I had finally found a place that accepted me! It even treated me like the queen of the world!
