GOD I HATE THIS I DON'T WANT MR/MESSING TO RETIRE!!!!!
Well what mainly happened was after our band stopped play and the Festival band came up my friend Jessie found a paper of the program and read what it said to us:
From the Director:
After nearly three decades as a band director it is time for me to pass the baton to the next generation. The students at M**** are in very good hands with the hiring of Shawn Cullen to fill my assignment. He is a great musician with terrific communication skills. With the continued support of the M**** administration,parents, and students this program will continue to flourish and grow.
In an era that seemingly places emphasis on core-subject test scores as the sole measure of academic excellence, it is vital that parents insist that their child's school meets the needs of a whole student. Reductions and restrictions in the fine arts classes do not enhance the education of children. Active, involed parents are paramount to the success of every school. Insist that your school is meeting the needs of your child. We are, after all, public servants.
Finally, I wish to thank the parents and families of M**** for their fabulous support. Whether it was tax-credit donation, A stint A chaperone, or getting students to a rehearsal, concert, or lesson, our bands could never have had the success we enjoyed without you. For this I offer my most sincere appreciation.

I just cried as she read this as the other band was playing i really tired to smile but i couldn't knowing that he would retire. To me and probably to most other people he was like a best friend who would always be there for you if you wanted to cry

I know..
Even though I didn't have him, he was still a cool teacher..
He remembered so many names, including mine o.o
I just find that to be....... nice..
I'm gonna miss it when he kicks us out of the room gonk
Is his phone number in a book thingy (kinda like the ones we got at elementary) so we can....... bug him even when he's not working?
