I hate hypocrisy. What is it about people who go to giveaway threads who can't just admit they came for the stuff? I mean, come the ******** on, we all know that IS why you came in the first place. Sure as hell not for the small talk.

"We are not a bunch of greedy people sucking up to Darmok!"

Right... *snorts a laugh* Well your over 7000 bumps - or even as much as 10 000 with some (congratulations, that's quite an impressive waste of time) - tell me otherwise. You can hardly include bumping as talking, but when you point out the obvious everyone take it sooo damn personally and get all defensive as if saying:

"How dare you make us look bad in front of Darmok! How will we get our stuff now when he knows the truth!"

Just ******** admit it. What's the big deal? Everyone and surely the owner knows why people come to giveaway threads and yes, they are suck-ups to the owner of it in hopes of winning the prize. It's just pathetic.

"Well we have intresting conversation now."

What's that? "Bump 7612... Bump 7613...Bump 7614... we're not greedy suck-ups!... Bump 7615..."

Oh! I'm convinced!

I couldn't help but mock their overwhelming hospitality, especially when I saw them ignoring some new girl who asked -three times- what was going on. No one replied to her and even one of the mods was there at the time bumping. Hello! If you're a mod of a thread it's your job to clear things up for the new commers. I had to tell her for ******** sake since everyone else was ignoring her. How pathetic is that? Then the 10 000 guy even took it as his job to start ******** with me even though I hadn't even addressed him once. Wtf is that about!? If they're that rude with every new person then no ******** wonder they don't stay. Exactly why I hate suck-ups. That was just a pathetic attempt to get rid of possible competitors.

All that hypocrisy and backstabbing spirit is exactly why I avoid giveaway threads. The people there just are so ******** two-faced. When the owner's there it's all smile and sunshine, sure, but when he's gone it's cut-throat time. I think I've only been to one other than Darmok's and admitted it from the start I was there only for a possible item if I got lucky. In Darmok's I've never even tried to win anything and the rest ignore you even then *snorts a laugh*

Whatever... bump your hearts out, but don't bother pretending as if you came just for chit chatting. We all know you didn't.
