Telu once more explained the situation and Lihrael felt tears well up at the end. He hugged the boy tightly and patted his head.

“You poor poor poor little baby!” He said, still hugging the prince. Telu turned a few shades of scarlet and Calim watched with amusement. “This is completely unacceptable! How could anyone wish to hurt such a sweet little boy, and worse yet, how could anyone leave you with her.” He said, jerking his thumb at Calim. She glared angrily. “From now on hun, I’ll be here, to protect you from all of the evils of the world!” He said, striking a dramatic pose and sending a sideways glace at Calim on the word evil. Before he knew it, her fist was lodged into his face and he was on the ground, bleeding from a probably broken nose. Telu just watched in silence, unable to form words.

“Well now that the nuisance is no longer speaking…Shall we go your majesty?” Asked Calim calmly, too calmly. Telu nodded very quickly, hoping not to make her mad.

Lihrael got up, adjusted/fixed is nose with magic and pouted. “I’m coming too you big meanie!” He said, crossing his arms. This brought on a heated discussion between Calim and Lihrael. During their argument, Telu saw something brightly colored and shiny in the trees near the end of the bridge. He walked to the trees and discovered that the shiny thing was a patch of flowers with water on them. They were such beautiful flowers, each different colors. They seemed to sing to him and he walked closer. After all, they were just harmless flowers right? As he got closer he noticed something, or rather, someone, dancing on the flower petals. Well, two someones actually. Both male. One was dressed in a black uniform looking top and shorts, all trimmed in blue, the other wore the same trimmed in red. When they saw Telu, both of them ran and hid under a leaf. Telu crouched down and picked the leaf up.

“It’s alright, I won’t hurt you, I promise.” Telu smiled happily at the two small people. The two tried to jump off his hand, but Telu caught them again. “Don’t jump! You’ll hurt yourselves.” He said. The two small people looked at him, no longer running.

“Who are you?” Asked one of them, the one in blue. Telu nodded and introduced himself, leaving out the prince part. The two in turn introduced themselves as Shi (Blue) and Cri (Red), the fairies of the enchanted flowers. The three got to talking and no one noticed when a man walked up behind Telu silently. The ‘man’ was no older than Telu, but a bit stronger looking. Shi and Cri saw him first, but it was too late for either of them to do anything. The man/boy knocked them away and gagged Telu quickly, before he could fight back. When Telu finally got a good look at the boy, he panicked.

The boy wore all black. A pair of black pants, black shoes, and a black shirt that showed of his stomach. The part that scared Telu though was the scarf around the boy’s neck. It had the rebel insignia on it. The boy tied Telu up and before he knew it, Telu was on the back of a horse, going faster than he would have liked, and both Shi and Cri were in a glass jar next to him in a saddlebag.

Calim and Lihrael didn’t notice Telu’s disappearance until their little squabble had stopped. Once they realized he was gone however, they turned over every rock in the area looking for him.

“Damnit this is all my fault!” Said Calim sadly, realizing that they had really lost him. “If I hadn’t been too busy arguing with you, he wouldn’t have left!” Lihrael was still looking as she spoke, and she came back to her with a small scrap of paper in his hands.

“I don’t think he ran off Calim, look.” Calim looked at the paper and her eyes darkened when she saw the Rebel insignia. Her fists clenched and a tree behind her went up in flames.

“I’ll kill them all if they hurt him! Come on Lihrael, we have a prince to save.”
