Cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard,
Cannot be smelt,
It lies behind stars and under hills,
In empty holes it fills,
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.

What has fingers but can't type?

What has ears but can't hear?

What has arms but can't hug?

What has a head and a foot but no body?

What has a mouth but never smiles?

What has a face but no head?

What has legs but can't walk?
