this is a redition of Tom's Diner made for my lovly Debbie

I am sitting at the counter
of a cancer health hospital
I am waiting at the counter
for the name of the room
and she lifts her head to speak
but she doen't look at me
but at the lady right behind me
who is white in the face

"What do you need ma'm?" said the woman
behind the long, white counter
to the lady right behind me
who is looking very nervous
and I'm trying not to listen
when they talk about death
and I look down a long hall
at a woman who is comming

she looks very cute and
it's not just her body
but her face was carved by angels
and i wonder why she
has no breasts or a hospital garment
but she has normal clothes on
and she runs straght at me
at full speed
with open ........ arms

She hugs me and holds me
and i wonder why she does this
then i remeber that action
and the smell of her hair
and I reach out my arms
and I hugged and held her
This is my Debbie my one and only love

I kiss her and hold her
and she makes some jestures at me
and I remeber that she is mute
and deaf so I follow
and we go to her room
she kises me pastionaly
and we slowly move around

I am thinking of you now
and of the times that we WILL have this summer
when I come and Visit....

And I turn off the lights and
move right next to you.
