She told her there in class today, That he could never be hers. She had to say it to her face, With a smile that shined brighter than the stars. She smiled right on back and looked away, To hide her broken heart. She knew this from the very beggining, What she didn't know was how much it would hurt. She kinda died that day, And noone really cared. They all went there happy ways, Which ended far away from her. She was left far behind to piece back a broken heart, And a difficult shape it was from the very start. She can't tell him now, No matter what she feels. She'll smile politely and walk right on by, Whithout a single tear revealed. The pain on her faced stopped noone, Because noone could see. She'll walk on straight to the edge of a cliff, And never turn around and scream. She'll look straight on out, And not shed any tears. Tears are all that falls now, In a neverending rain of fallen dreams. A rain that kills more than it heals, Especially her internal pain. She won't show up for school tomorrow, Because they'll only find the note. And maybe if they try hard enough, They can find her broken body washed up upon the rocks. But one thing they can never do, Is to heal her stone dead broken heart. And one day I shall tell them all, How much I am like her and wish to be her too.
