In the Mind from the Wander of Stars....
Looking into my mind... and into my day.
Once a year...
Seems like I only post something in this journal once a year. Wonder why... ah well, I figure it's because I forget it ever exists and most of the rants and crazed delirium I talk about tends to find its way to other blogging sites. I tried keeping a journal at one point, but I soon found myself only discussing useless garbage I was going through after I broke up with my first girlfriend. I think that was just some sad attempt to get back with her, but alas... I know better now than to pull some cheesy crud like that again.

So what's new, eh?

Well, in a previous journal entry, I mentioned that I became a part of the Latter-Day Saints church. Again, for those of you who aren't in the know, that's the Mormon church you've all heard about at one point or another. Anywho, I think it's safe to say I'm not really a part of that faith anymore. I don't ever go to church, I don't talk with the missionaries, and I don't bother calling up any of the old chums I used to hang around there with. Furthermore, I've started "defying" - yes, I quote that because I'm not really doing so in my opinion - some of their beliefs by drinking coffee, tea, and other little tidbits they wouldn't be happy about. Can't say I believed too much into the magical adventures and happenings of Joseph Smith that they're so adamant about, but I think the general belief and life-styles they hold are very nice. Not sure why I bothered sharing that with anyone, but ah well.

If anything, some of their beliefs are liken to my current philosophy, which I'll get into some other journal entry.

Another little tidbit is that I was supposidly going to finally move out of my parents house when my dad managed to get a job in New Jersey. While I'd have enjoyed being up there with him, I'd much rather finish my school work down here and not bother with the troublesome ordeals of transferring schools and getting all this business and crud sorted out. So, I'm still free-loading at my parents' place, dealing with my mom's annoyances and my brother's attitude problem.

Wonder when that little bugger is going to finally move out as well...

School-wise, everything's going pretty dandy. I had a very rocky time last semester, but things are starting to look up this time around. I'm doing my school work, getting decent to good grades, and I'm looking to improve my abilities as a writer as well. From the looks of things, I might go for a field in Technical Writing. While no, I won't be writing about the fantastical dimensional web that Airez and Ailek go through, I will be making enough money to live in my own apartment with decent accomodations. I'll simply need to find a business that requires an editor / letter-writer of sorts.

So, I'll be a writer but... not a creative writer. I'll probably go about publishing some work after school is over with. Until then, my stories will remain in my head until school is done and over with.

I should probably start doing some writing prompts here and there to get my juices flowing during the school semester though. In a way, I treat all the threads that I post in as writing prompts, and that's one of the many reasons I end up coming out with essays rather than short, sweet, and concise posts. Thus, for the people that deal with my threads or deal with my replying to yours, please keep in mind that I thank you for giving me the opportunity to write all the time. Seriously, I love writing and I enjoy doing so in long, unhindered periods of time.

No really, I do. Stop looking at me like that...

Anywho, I'm going to write up a Nostalgia thread within the next couple of days when I get around to doing so. You can probably expect me to do so this Friday (March 9th) since I have a paper and a test to study for this week. I've really wanted to write one up ever since I discovered something of mine on this site from a long time ago.

Until then: Ciao, my lovelies. May life provide you with bountious amounts of joy and cheer.

Writing is awesome. Good luck getting into it. My father got mad at me for wanting to write, said I'd never make enough money for anything. xD
