A friend of mine sent me this and i decided to post this in my journal:

I have a bit of news to share with all of you. I don't care about your position on the US-Iraq war, I'm just informing you about something. On Friday, 26, 2007 a small outpost was celebrating the rise of General Pataerus (Sp?) to command of the Iraq war. A man I knew, Captain Miller was stationed there. While they were partying they expected nothing. They didn't expect that five smoke grenades would be thrown through the outpost's window and an RPG crashing into their weapons-rack. They didn't expect to be suddenly surrounded and held hostage. Well, the insurgents after taking them hostage took the CO (Captain Miller) and gave him two choices. His first choice would be to have his entire squadron executed in front of him. His second was to die a horrible and painful death in their place. He chose to die a horrible death. First they skinned his arm. Then believe it or not they lit him on fire with a flame-thrower. However he fought till the end. Even while he was on fire he sang his favorite song, the Piano Man. His squadron could only watch helplessly as their Captain and friend was burned alive in front of them. After surviving being torched they fed him to attack dogs. His squadron was sent back to base along with Miller's head and his remains. Captain Miller died an honorable death. He was not afraid and showed defiance till the end. A true example of an American. I'm asking you all to pray for him. Pray for his soul. Pay your respects. Thank you.
