Current musics: Final Fantasy IX - The Sneaky Frog and the Scoundrel

I'm quite happy - in online life, everything seems to be coming up roses. (My real life? Eh... middlin. Boring, too, what with the monotony of job hunting, but there's only a bit more than a week until the Final Fantasy Dear Friends concert! heart ) In the past two weeks, all this has happened -

- heart (those who know what this is, know n_n)
- Won GMFC flatsale for Riven and Glee
- Won Light Edelsteine in auction
- Won poetry contest for a Cait Eibhilin breeding
- Won story contest for a Fandangle Familiar from ME&F
- Carda won a Fandangle too (this counts as a good thing for me too n_n)
- My Feien Amalthea became Enhanced with lovely new art
- My other Feien, Edan, emerged from his bloom
- Obtained a custom Time Bandit to be Fa'e Sosi's familiar
- Got RL Riven-plushie handmade by Draconayzia (yay!)
- Art contest kicked up and got some supercute entries (more! more! X3)
- Got to go on a commissioning spree of great joy
- Donation items rocked hard
- [censored] XD (No, not the dirty kind of censor, the info-I-can't-mention censor.)

Yep, I'm pleased. I only wish my real life was so full of... I guess triumph. It's a lot easier to function here than it is IRL. I have to keep a good balance (as Riven might say).

My next goal is a HUGE one. XP Heh. And I'm not likely to get it but I'm going to give it a fair try - I want to write to win NM miniwings in Sabin and Kamiki's art contest. heart I'm not sure if writing can truly compete with visual arts for such high prizes, but I'll give it a whirl and we'll see. NM minis are the one thing on Gaia that's a high-class item that I've wanted... but I really can't quest for them right now. After the GMFC quest? I just *can't*. I'm so tired of it.

So I write, and I either get them or I don't. *shrug*
