I sit in my shadow
Waiting for your reply
Not knowing what will come next
I’m scared to death
Not knowing where your answer lies.


Decision:

I’m torn between two paths
And don’t know which to follow
Should I say yes or no?
Should I follow my mind?
Or follow my soul?

One may lead to trouble
The other may lead to fame
One may lead to happiness
The other may lead to shame.


Glimpse of hope:

Sometimes the world
Seems so unfair
Filled with lies, cheats
And despair
And when you find
A glimpse of hope
It evaporates into
Smoke.


Gone:

I fell in love
In to your arms
I never felt so safe
But it all came crashing down
When you let go.

It was like a knife through my heart
A bullet to the head
Feels like death
When you’re gone.

You’re like the ocean
Calm and peaceful
During a storm you become
Dangerous and unpredictable.

Keeping warm throughout the night
But you can become uncontrollable
And you’re all that’s in sight.

You’re like a tiger
Calm and sane
But when it comes to your cubs
You become wild and untamed.

You’re human like me
Calm and sweat
But when you’re mad
You’re still human
Just like me.


Imagine:

I always imagined
What it was like to be loved
For someone to hold me close
For someone to kiss me
And touch my nose.

I imagined it all
Even the way it feels
But now I know that
