Well, this is my first journal on Gaia and I've been on for about a year and more on. Anyway, I just wanted to check my avatar out and she is still the perfect little me look a like, but since I don't have red hair anymore, I should maybe change that into black now.
Since the last time I was on I got married, had a daughter, and moved to San Diego because of my Marine Husband. I am very haappy at this moment and wouldn't want to have anything change since then. Maybe my body weight, my nose and bigger ta-ta's. I am surprise how well I'm taking motherhood and being a Marine wife. I tell you, a Marine wife is different then ARMY or NAVY wife, except that we are all in the military together and fighting for our country.
I'm also wanted to check my avatar out since on March 26th 2007 I will be leaving for about 3 months for Marine Boot Camp. Yes, I have chosen to become a Marine just like my Husband. But I made up my mind way before my husband did. I was about the age of 3 or 4 when I told my parents I would join the military, because that is and was the only job/career I have ever seen myself in. Wearing the uniform and camis just gives me the chills and giggles. I have wanted to earn those few things that I have always set my mind on since young. I know some don't understand, like my Husband, but it's more than the money and benefits for me, it's a life that I have always wanted for me and my child. I know that some of the stuff I would never be able to give her if I ever had a civilian job. I also think it will be a good experience just like my Dad did to us and my Husband is right now.
I guess I'm just ranting about something that I have always dreamed of wanting to do, but it's my passion and some don't have that passion for the military and make it hard for themselves, just like my Husband. But than he got screwed over with his job and place he wanted to go. As I have always heard from Military People, "they send you where they need you most of all." So, yeah, and I think it would be really cool for my husband and I to be in the military together, sharing something in common.
Well, it's early in the morning and my daughter will be up soon, so I have to part ways for now. Jenii cheese_whine
