He/him: Main character
Her/she: Main character

Lightning flashed. He thought he saw her. But he didn't. He was only imagining her shadow on his wall. He checked the clock, 2:19 am. No longer he would wait. He had to tell her that he loved her. The next morning, at school, he looked for her, but she wasn't there. He waited until everyone had left, but he hadn't seen her. When he got home, he called her house. He asked if she could speak to her. But her mother was sorry, she said she had died the night before at 2:19 am. He was speechless, he told her thank-you and hung up. He sat on his bed miserably. Wishing he had told her before. All of a sudden, he woke up. He looked at his clock, it was 2:19 am. He had only been dreaming. He would tell her in the morning. But how? He was one year older than she, and one grade higher. He saw her the next morning in school, but was too shy to tell her. He saw her at the end of the day, but was too shy to tell her. He saw her later with her friends at a restaurant. His friends told him to tell her. He decided to brave it out. When he noticed the girls were leaving, he stopped them and asked to talk to her in private. He lead her by the hand to the gazebo. They silently sat hand-in-hand on the stone bench, listening to the pond next to the gazebo, and looking at the light-lined vines that were covering the gazebo. He couldn't stand it.
"I love you." He said
"What?" Was her reply. She was confused.
"I love you," he said,"I can't stand not telling you. I don't blame you if you hate me." he blushed and looked at his hands.
A smile twitched on her lips, "I love you, too."
He smiled, still holding her hand, he stood her up, "Then you won't mind if I do this." He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her. He felt her arms slowly flowing up around his neck. It seemed like they were standing there forever. He finally let go of her, and they turned to find their friends snapping photos with their camera phones. He smiled at her and she nodded her head. He led her down the steps and walked her home alone. At the step, he said "I'll always love you. No matter what happens." And he gave her a good night kiss. Once the year was over, and year books were handed out, they sat together on the beach and looked through it. At the very end of all of the pages, the picture of their kiss at the gazebo was there. Under the picture, written in neat, cursuve calligraphy was, "Most likely to spend the rest of their lives together." He smiled at her and she put her head on his shoulder, in that position they stayed, until the stars came out and twinkled brightly over them.
