Clearly my life has been quite hectic in the oncoming of the dreaded X-mas. You all know what I speak of, hopefuly. The cheer, and goodwill... Its not that I don't like the holiday, or any holiday that has to do with happiness an dbeing with your family and friends, but shouldn't every day be like that? Or is X-mas just a reminder to those too cold-hearted to notice that life with friends is important?
Happy ********] Holidays....
However... X-mas does have its other ups and downs despite the overobsession with togetherness.
1. There is always some movie marathon of series movies or once-a-year specials. Those are always interesting. For example, right now on TBS there's a miracle going on. They're actually showing all three Lord of the Rings movies. I pity the fool who doesn't know about those.
2. There's a good excuse to run around like a maniac with Pina-Colada candycanes hanging out of your mouth. This is a very important family tradition for me...
3. Eggnog. 'Nuff said.
4. Um... Well... There's a higher chance of snow. Shuddup, I love snow. We don't get it very often. though usually it snows more on my b-day than on X-mas. Woot for that, either way.
So! This leaves me hissing in pain, scrambling over my pencil shavings to flunk at studying... Oh, and listening to Gorillaz. They're quite addictive, but then again so are alot of other bands. I was recently hooked into Red Hot Chili Peppers. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not, seeing as I wake up with 'Tell me Baby' or 'Otherside' stuck in my ears.
Not good, in my opinion, but it does give my mind a good thing to attatch to. At this point, I'm wondering if I'm truly insane. Its like there's a tiny radio in my mind with tiny-er men who spin the dial.
I wonder what they eat? And my jacket smells like pot. Why? I don't know anyone who smokes pot, and I have never done anything like that either... so curious..
Well, that concludes today's ramblings. I'm off to watch the Two Towers. That ranger dude is my sworn hero. Was it Aragon or Aragorn? I always forget... Onward to victory! Let's hunt some Orc!
-No orcs were harmed in the making of this dilluional ramble. Rest assured though, that at least five Pina-Colada Candycanes were slurped to their dooms. You have been warned.-
