Nirah's Thoughts
Hey! My name's Nirah. I probably won't fill the journal up too much. But if I do, it may not always be about what's happened in my life. I mean, not like a journal/ diary per say. It'll be like......I dunno. Guess you'll just have to wait and see.
Yet another part to the my D.O.K. story. It's been so long I forgot I wrote it.
Any comments could help make this story continue, seeing how it keeps reviving itself at odd moments in time.
Enjoy!

The dream came again, but this time, she was not the victim. She could hear the screams of another, a male. She was dazed, unsure of what she saw. She hid behind the shadows of an unknown place. And, before her, there were shadows. She saw nothing, but quick flashes of light, as if reflecting from something. The screams were loud at first, terrifying to the ear; but as time went by it weakened into a whine and then a whimper. And then, in one tense second, there was silence.
Lexus wanted to scream. She was frightened and mad. But all the same, something silenced her. She didn’t know who or what it was, but her voice could not break free from the hold.
A pair of red eyes flashed before her. The same as before—she knew who they belonged to and dreaded the thought of that girl. The eyes glared at her, paralyzing her. She couldn’t move as it drove closer to her—the feeling of fear shocking her into a state of frozen shock.
But, as the eyes grew horrifyingly close (she could almost feel the breath from which those eyes belonged), something inside her snapped. Her fear was overrun by another emotion—Anger. And, that anger, took shape within her. Lexus could feel something growing inside her; something coursing through her veins. It seemed to take form yet still remained a liquid as it formed within her veins, beneath the skin.
The anger she felt within her was surging into a point; and, that point lay within her hand. Her fist was clenched, but it seemed to be pulsing—pulsing with a fury, yet unknown to her. Her arm swung back as she stared at the eyes which glowed before her; she could feel her fury taking shape. This shape seemed to extend beyond her arm, beyond the fist.
And then, as if in a reflex, Lexus struck…

The hair on Arianna’s neck pricked up—as if she could feel someone nearby, watching her. She glanced around; no one there. She got up, off the body. The body of Max Herville. The package she delivered was just a ruse. A tracking device.
She looked around. “Sheesh! What a mess he caused, struggling like that. Made all the more worse for him, I’d say.” A smile curled on her lips. “Ah, well. What’s done is done…”
Arianna walked in his apartment. She was going to pick up the mess he had made while struggling, but thought better of it. “No good cleaning up the mess, he already lives in a pig sty.” She curled her lip, in disgust.
As she walked she looked for the package. It lay in a corner, ripped almost to bits. Inside, lay the “equipment”—a couple of cords and wires, connected “harmlessly” to a black box. A light was blinking from it. “Guess he was smart enough to put the batteries in.” She picked up the box, turning the switch with the blinking light off. Then, she put everything in a bag (as was protocol for her); including any letters that were sent from Kadromo (except for the usual junk sent from them).
Arianna went through the back. She knew the neighbors would be out and all the lights were off. But still, she didn’t want to rouse any suspicions. Through the back, she went through a series of allies before arriving near a 24-hour convenience store. There, she put on a set of headphones and continued to walk the streets back to the subway, undisturbed by her murderous act against an unknown man…
