I finished reading the books; Eldest by Paolini, and The Lost Colony in the Artemis Fowl series by Colfer.
I must say, Eldest was a daring read, with six-hundred pages, the end left me quite unhappy. Although, there was a twist nearing the end that I had seen coming, so it spiced it up a bit, even in the slightest.
As for The Lost Colony, the plot was a bit dry in the beginning, because there were about three different enemies that became more or less good. First, Minerva -- A genius that seems as smart as Fowl himself that is about 12 years of age, a girl; who attempts to take information from No. 1, a warlock imp who cannot warp to demon stage. Then, after Minerva promises not to use the newfound information to win a nobel prize, she is taken hostage by Kong, whom her father had hired to be a body-guard. He wants her to call upon the demon so he can take revenge for the death of his brother, who had really died due to a gang fight. Well, he gets arrested/punched/knocked out, and then the new enemy is Leon Abbot, whom is really called N'Zall (no Idea how you're supposed to pronounce that), who tries to take over all of the demon island Hybras.
Eh, I liked Lost Colony a tad bit more than Eldest, because of the funny words and all those puberty jokes. xD;
