It's a bleedin' journal title
What sort of description do you need for a bleedin' journal? I talk about me, which is selfish, but smart. I don't know you, yet, so I can't bloody well talk about you can I? So get to know me, then we will both have something to talk about.
Stalk the ground
Since this is the first, I'm not going to say much. What I will say though, is about a band, a band that need no plugging, no endorsements, no hype. What I say about the band is mere opinion of someone who wished to get of his own chest the powerful pull this band obviously has. The Mars Volta is a tremendous band with a sound that defies any genre. When I originally encountered this band, I thought, 'hmm, latin rock mixed with a bit of free jazz, and a touch of indie freestyle,' but each time I encounter a new disc of theirs, and their old music (under the band name "At the Drive-In" wink I see more and more layers to their music, and more depth to their sound. They are rapidly taking out the contenders for my all-time, top five bands. Who knows when or if they might surpass the top? So, if you have any interest in music, and haven't already experienced their full and original sound, do it. Do it now.
