Ruins
His world lies in ruins,
The ones he loved gone,
The few left no longer loving,
No longer loved,
No longer wanted,
He wonders his world alone,
Lost forever in an unending abyss,
Of thoughts of the past,
Of shame and regret,
Knowing he must walk along side it for as long as he may live,
All for he could not ask a question.
