Little Cries that wake the night
Lead a new family to a beautiful sight
Tiny eyes that wander your face
Try to figure out this brand-new place
A Little yawn that scrunches her nose
And leads her to stretch to her tiny toes
Father Holds her and tickles her feet
Her little giggles don't miss a beat
Placed back in her mothers arms
Shows her looks and mothers charms
Her eyes Grow so big and she sucks on her thumb
Showing no teeth but The pinkest of gums
Now its grandmas turn to hold the little one
As she holds her an smiles and laughs a ton
But now its late her eyes are closing
The sign of exhaustion now showing
placing her down on a blanket of down
The family looks at her twisted little gown
They kiss her forehead and tell her good night
And they smile and whisper about the cutest little sight
